PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT CYCLE


We bring value in all processes from initial customer requests to subsequent processing and serial delivery. The competitiveness of our products and processes is our main driver, as we make sure that, from their inception, we can overcome, based on our knowledge, the value that the customer expects, in addition to ensuring, during the service life of the product, the generation of ideas and implementation of innovative processes that allow us to improve profitability continuously.




CUSTOMER REQUESTS

From the first requests of our customers, the engineering project team works alongside the production plant in the development and selection of the most competitive design and manufacturing concepts, cooperating from the initial phases of the project and aligning efforts and objectives according to the customers expectations.




TECHNICAL AND ECONOMIC FEASIBILITY

An engineering team, in coordination with the account manager, is in charge of project management and reviews the technical and economic feasibility of the 2D design and CAD construction for all subsequent stages of processing, based on the use of AMFE, process Moldflow, rapid prototyping and lessons learnt.




DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE OF MOULDS AND EQUIPMENT

During the definition and design of the means of production, the final application is always taken into account, priority being given to optimal serial performance for all processes (injection, painting, welding, assembly, etc.), based on the latest technologies in the market such as control by artificial vision, automation, etc.

Tabiplast manages the moulds since their concession and has a panel of approved, continuously audited suppliers, which are selected based on their competitiveness, technical experience and commitment




APPROVAL

The engineering and plant team is responsible for validating the part or assembly according to the APQP required by the customer, which involves, among other activities, the implementation of functional and laboratory tests, part sizing according to tolerances required by the customer, and run & rate testing on definitive media. Only after approval of the project's PPAP documentation by the customer, the project is approved for its serial production, the team's commitment to meeting the deadlines and requirements agreed remaining always firm.




SERIAL PRODUCTION AND LOGISTICS

We know that maintaining and exceeding the standards agreed during serial production is what allows us to maintain our relationship with our customers and, thus, guarantee our future. That is why all plant departments operate and innovate in their areas to exceed the main KPIs such as ppm, delivery ratio, etc. always with the goal of becoming a referential service provider for our customers.
